How We Research, Write, and Verify Every Article

Technical content is only valuable if it is accurate. Every DCS Global Learning Center resource is authored by certified infrastructure engineers, reviewed for technical accuracy, and updated when the underlying technology changes. Published standards. Auditable process. No AI-generated filler.

Our Core Editorial Commitments

The same rigor we apply to infrastructure engineering, we apply to infrastructure content. Author credentials, review process, update policy — all published, all verifiable.

Expert Authorship

Every article is written by a named DCS Global engineer or technical specialist with verifiable credentials in the subject area. We do not publish content from anonymous contributors, marketing staff, or AI-generated text without expert review and attribution.

Technical Accuracy

All technical claims are verified against primary sources: manufacturer specifications, IEEE and ASHRAE standards, NFPA codes, Uptime Institute guidelines, and peer-reviewed research. We do not publish unverified performance claims or speculative benchmarks.

No Vendor Sponsorship

DCS Global does not accept payment for editorial coverage, sponsored content placement, or favorable product reviews. Technology recommendations are based solely on technical merit and suitability for the described use case.

Transparent Conflicts

Where DCS Global has a commercial relationship with a technology vendor (authorized reseller, implementation partner), this relationship is disclosed in the relevant article. Our editorial positions are independent of commercial relationships.

Regular Review Cycle

Technical content is reviewed for accuracy on a 12-month cycle or when significant industry changes occur (new product generations, updated standards, regulatory changes). The last-reviewed date is displayed on every article.

Corrections Policy

When errors are identified — by readers, subject matter experts, or our own review process — we correct them promptly and note the correction at the bottom of the article. We do not silently edit published content to remove errors.

The Editorial Process

Every article in the Learning Center follows this five-step process before publication.

Topic Selection & Scope Definition

Internal process

Topics are selected based on demonstrated client need, search demand for infrastructure guidance, and gaps in publicly available technical resources. The scope is defined to ensure the article addresses a specific, answerable question — not a broad marketing topic.

Primary Research & Source Gathering

1–5 days

The assigned author gathers primary sources: manufacturer technical documentation, relevant IEEE/ASHRAE/NFPA standards, Uptime Institute guidelines, and peer-reviewed research. DCS Global field experience and project data are incorporated where relevant and non-confidential.

Draft Authorship

2–10 days

The article is written by the named author — a DCS Global engineer with direct expertise in the subject area. The author is responsible for the accuracy of all technical claims and the practical applicability of all recommendations.

Technical Peer Review

2–5 days

The draft is reviewed by at least one additional DCS Global engineer with credentials in the subject area. The reviewer checks technical accuracy, identifies unsupported claims, and flags content that may be outdated or context-dependent.

Publication & Ongoing Maintenance

Ongoing

Published articles display the author name, credentials, publication date, and last-reviewed date. Articles are scheduled for review on a 12-month cycle. Reader feedback and corrections are reviewed by the original author or a qualified substitute.

Update and Corrections Policy

Scheduled Review Cycle

All Learning Center articles are reviewed for technical accuracy on a 12-month cycle. The review date is updated when the content is confirmed current or when corrections are made. Articles covering rapidly evolving topics (GPU architectures, AI frameworks, cooling standards) are reviewed more frequently.

Triggered Reviews

Articles are reviewed immediately when: a new product generation supersedes referenced hardware, a relevant standard is updated or replaced, a significant industry event changes best practices, or a reader or subject matter expert identifies a potential error.

Corrections Transparency

When a factual error is corrected, a correction notice is added to the article noting what was changed and when. Minor corrections (typos, formatting) are made without notice. Substantive corrections (technical claims, specifications, recommendations) are always noted.

Submitting Corrections

Readers who identify potential errors or outdated information are encouraged to contact us at [email protected] with the article URL and a description of the concern. All submissions are reviewed by the original author or a qualified substitute within 5 business days.

What We Do Not Publish

These content types are explicitly excluded from the DCS Global Learning Center.
